Monday of the Last Week of PRCP.
Its been a really awesome experience
I would say, the best posting I ever had.
I don’t really like the isolation ward coz of the work but, the staff there are a joy to work with.

Well. I have mixed feelings.

“There’s a great improvement from the first time you came here”
“You’ve got potential”
“I’m sure you’re one of those who can survive here”

And i’ll start floating.
Well, Yeah, that’s good news.

But

HEY!!! Wake up your idea girl! (LOL)
The real thing hasn’t started yet!
I mean, there’re still 10 001 things to remember and do
And some skills we can’t practice now !
We still gotta undergo some tests and a trainee course.
Its just pre-beginning, not the REAL thing yet…
Damn, I hope I can do this!

And i’d be starting work on the 18th June,with SGH for 3years. “YaY”

NEVERMIND!
I am Sooooo looking forward to 6 glorious weeks of holidays
This is like, the last long holiday ever before work life!

Morning shift today~
Monday BLOOOS as always

but it was alright

Anyway, after work I ZOOMED home!

Met up with Kenny to just hang out and walk around
Then watched a movie at The Cathay~

This movie is good in my opinion. I liked it, though some talking parts made me doze off coz i was sleeeepy from work!

I watched the trailer and got kinda interested in it.

Science vs Religion?
What if things happen in terms of religion where science can never explain it?

10 biblical plagues:
Water sources turning into Blood, Frogs, Disease on Livestock, Flies, Lice, Unhealable Boils, Locusts, Fiery Hail, Darkness, Death of Firstborn.

The town believes A 12year old girl has brought down these 10 bibilical plagues
Was she in a Satanic Cult? Will Katherine be able to solve everything with science?
Or must she switch her beliefs and belive in religion?

I wouldn’t say its a horror movie.

I think this movie really depends on individuals, if its your type then I suggest you watch it, if not save your money =)
For me, I think its a decently smart, apocalyptic thriller. Oh and Hillary Swank, she’s so beautiful! =)

Anyway I’m in the afternoon shift tomorrow so i can wake up late! Wahaha!

A tiring but FAST week.

Its been a tiring tiring tiring week……
The night shifts
The sudden changes in my body clock.
Definitely not enough of SLEEP.

And the days this week seems to be like “FLASH ZOOOOM!!!”
SOOOO FAST!! WhoAaAa..

Night shift is fun man!!!
We have a whole 1hr break and I’ve got company with Su Yun!!

And of course since its 2+++am and quiet…..

Met Mong Mong for a short while at Plaza Singapura to window shop and chat abit.
I have never felt bored in her company, really entertaining and fun to be with her

After that~
Went to Vivocity for dinner with Gagen.
Coz I owed him a treat over some stupid bet we had!!!

Anyway, we were walking around finding a place to eat…aaahhh Vivooo why u so bigg
I was already half dead coz I didn’t eat the whole day and super hungry!

So in the end we settled at Carl’s Jr
Tried the Crispy bacon chicken duno wad burger. Its nice~
Its something like mac-d’s McSpicy Burger just that the one we had was not as spicy!

My rat bitten burger… hahahaha! I wasn’t eating into it

After that we went to see St James’ POwer Station.
It looks like a really nice place man!!!

We were just walking around it and there were many people there, going to club.
Eeee so envious!!! Just walking around and around and by the end of the day… I was a walking zombie.

Oh and I saw Syasya all dressed up going to St James WAAHHH!!

SO ENVY her!

Going on to the Last and Final Night (:

How was it?

- I didnt gulp down coffee at all..

- I kinda missed my bed after 4+am

- I missed my computer and msn when I started work. LOL

Thank gawd i have a friend Su Yun with me, got company!

Work was more smooth sailing, not as crowded or hectic or busy.
Coz we work longer hours in the Night shift.
From 9pm till 730am
Quite alright I would say.
But after 4+am, you’ll go crazy..really, not kidding

By the time I got home was already 9+am.
I see everyone running for trains, rushing for work.
As for me, I was dragging myself back home to have a gooood deeep sleeep.

And now that I have woken up, Its time to get ready for work again!!!
I feel I need more sleeep!!!
Well its the last night shift. Just 2 days of it for us students.
So I won’t have to work on Wednesday~ it’ll just be my Sleeping Day and rest day!

1st Official Day of PRCP… And Some other irrelevant Stuff Haha!

My first official day in the ward.
Ward 58.
But I’m not posted to General Surgery!!!!
Its Infectious Diseases!!!
An isolation ward. A separate place from General Surgery, just next to it but separate ah

WAAaAaHHHhhH ~~~

*Alot of safety precautions to take.
*Must change into scrubs(t shirt and pants)
*Must wear protective gear whenever we attend to different people.
-This is to protect ourselves, for hygiene and also to not spread viruses and bacterias to other people in the ward and outside.
*This is when I realise hand hygiene is REALLY not a joke
Its something everyone should take precautions in. Yes everyone..
Coz it does help in a huge way

This place is something new
Quite a different experience from all my previous postings
And the staff are really helpful and nice =)

The best part: Pei Ning and me are posted to the same place same shift same time~
SO LUCKY!!! We’ve got each other to rely on and help.
I really feel very glad and lucky sia
Its a waste Azira’s in a different shift… but same ward, good enuff lah.. haha!
Soooo AWESOME

Someone said I should take the chance to do things I’ve never done before……
Like go clubbing!

Pre Registration Consolidation Programme (:

Oh!! I cut and highlighted my hair about 2 weeks ago, on a weekend before my exams.
I couldn’t take it anymore, it was kinda long and thick and messy. I can really forget about growing long hair. :p

And By the way, I went all the way to Color Bar at Siglap. Coz I was looking for a good place to cut my hair on websites and all. Yes I did something that crazy and yes it turned out gooood .

I guess when people become stressed up, they cut off their locks!
Its a kinda strange phenomenom…. have you ever wondered why is that so?

AFTER: Hahaha~ I was studying ah..for the exams..STRESS.

Speaking of exams….
On the last day of my exams, we had a Sentosa trip and it was sooooo nice!!!! So loving the beach man!!!
I wanna go to the beach again!!!

Though it rained so heavily halfway…
We were all already wet from playing in the water! So we just shifted our stuff and continued playing in the rain!!! We couldn’t go back in the water coz we had to look after our stuff.

Then, the rain, it all stopped
It was shining brightly again
The tide was lower
It seemed so peace and calm

And the crazy bunch of 7 continued the havoc and fun again :p
